Severus Snape
Severus Snape was angry. He had been promised Lily Potter as a reward for information on The Prophesy. Lily was to be his! He threw the glass at the fireplace and continued to pace in his anger. He was startled out of his musings when he heard a noise coming from his den. Severus cautiously approached the room and was stunned to find Lily Potter standing there.
What worried Severus was Lily's appearance. She was dressed as if she were going into combat with her Daisho in her obi belt. The way Lily's hand rested on her Katana drew his attention. Her thumb rested against the sword's tsuba as if she were ready to draw the blade in an instant.
"Why, Severus?"
Nervously, Severus spoke, "He promised -- " Severus never finished the words as he felt the blade of Lily's sword against his flesh and; then, he knew no more.
Location: Malfoy Manor
Sitting in what he considered his throne room, Lord Voldemort pondered his next moves when a House Elf brought a him a box.
"This was left at at the edge of the wards, Master," the House Elf spoke before it popped away.
Curious, Voldemort opened the box and was surprised to find the head of one of his most trusted servants, Severus Snape. A head that was still screaming.
