Serenade

4th Year, Tri-Wizard Tournament, Yule Ball

Harry James Potter, 4th champion in the reinstated Tri-Wizard Tournament, sighed as he looked around the Grand Hall. It had been transformed into a dance hall for this year's Yule Ball, something which he was wholly unprepared for. He barely learned how to dance from his date, but he hoped that what he was about to do would more than make up for it.

Harry took out his violin and began to play slowly, pouring his heart and emotions into the piece he was playing. As he continued, many of the onlookers watched in awe as they felt the pull of the music itself, almost as if it were a patronus. The onlookers felt joy, sadness, hope and love in the sound of the music.

As Harry finished the song, everyone stood up and applauded. But what happened next surprised everyone, including Harry himself.

Fleur Isabelle Delacour, Beauxbatons champion, stood up from her seat and walked over to Harry, who was still standing in the middle of the dance floor. Fleur looked into Harry's emerald eyes and pulled him into a gentle kiss

"Zhat was beautiful, Harry," Fleur said, with tears in her eyes.

Harry smiled and kissed Fleur, "For you."
