And like, doesn’t the idea of Fleur bein Harry’s bodyguard kinda just work? Like I’m thinking Harry grows up as in canon where he’s being groomed for this life of being the next Dumbledore but he’s clearly just a born poet/writer type, and so everyone decides this dude needs protection so they get Fleur, who is sorta known to ‘society’ to be his girlfriend, where she wouldn’t look out of place cos she’s sort of from an old house, but instead she’s really there to make sure a soft boy doesn’t get hurt. This I assume involves them like, having dances that at first are perfunctory but turn emotional cos they’re staring into each other’s eyes, her talking about taking a spell for him but him ending up taking a spell for her. Also her teaching him how to fight by like, moving his body and shit, and him getting her to open up emotionally and be vulnerable for the first time ever
