Flowerpot

By Words or Swords

Harry Potter and his two friends, recent graduates from the prestigious Hogwarts Academy of Magical Arts, venture out on a desperate search. Looking for the mysterious murderer of Harry’s parents and the source of dark visions and grim omens that plague him.

Hermione, a talented witch of humble origins, boasting a wide range of spells, though she has to meticulously prepare each day to be ready to cast them.

Ron, coming from a magical family, honed his inherited talents, his magic most often working with animals, plants and the soil itself, is steadfast in his support of his two friends.

And Harry? Though magic comes easily to him, he had trouble with the structured rote learning at the Academy. His spell repertoire is much poorer than Hermione’s, though he can cast them easily with a simple gesture. His prowess with the more combat oriented spells is equalled only with the skill with which he wields his trusty sword.

Right now they are delving into one city’s underground, tracking a network of thieves and smugglers connected to a local count, a certain Lord Malfoy. Facing thugs, thieves, murderers, and various monsters in the city’s sewers, they are fortunately not alone. Another was guided by outside forces to delve into this web of darkness. An errant warrior priestess of the Everlight, the Passionate Flame, the Veela Goddess of Light, Love, and healing, whose true name is a secret zealously guarded by the clergy, Fleur Delacour joined the trio, donning flowing robes and maille, her faith’s holy symbol clutched in one hand and a saber in the other. The darkness encountered underground is an anathema to her Goddess and she welcomes the company as she goes to cleanse the filth.

Her Goddess teaches to redeem the ignorant by words and deeds, but those who refuse are to be redeemed by the sword.

Malfoy jr. blanches when he sees the familiar priestess, for he has already once promised to repent.
