How about high veela being directly created from the fallen hairs of Aphrodite, and so when Elena tells her daughters and grnaddaughters stories of her own mother, she speaks of beauty that no words can encapsule, all little Demi-veela refering to their great grandmother as the golden grannie.
Fleur has passions that are so very different to those that her blood would guide her too, she rejects her parents teaching, she has no time for love or beauty. She wants to be a researcher.
It's many years later, as she strokes the hair of the sleepy man that she had met so many years before that she realises how much a fool she had been.
To think that there was a single thing on the whole cosmos that was not touched by beauty and love. The bonds that held everything together, from the tinniest of atoms to the souls of too fools.
Fleur Delacour had had a rocky path in meeting her great-grandmother, but in the end the Golden Crowned Lady had recieved her with open arms, unjudging, open minded, proud of her granddaughter with the messy bun and the sooty cheeks, and of all the things she had created and discovered, of all the love she had poured into them.
This shows more of a devotional perspective on the gods than is usual in media though
