Harry is a low-level adventurer in the Hogwarts Guild, the last of the line of Potters, a noble lineage of adventures for justice and honor. Seeking revenge on the evil Serpent-King Voldemort for killing his parents, Harry seeks out the legendary trainer of heroes Albus Dumbledore, the Phoenix Warlock, who he wishes to train him as a sorcerer.
On his journey, Harry joins an adventuring party with a timid Weasel-folk fighter named Ronald Weasleton, Tabaxi Artificer named Her-meow-nie, and a cowardly Plantkin Druid named Neville Longroot.
Together, the band of low-level misfits travel the wilds of Wizaria, taking on quests to gain level and experience to battle the Serpent King. On one of their most dangerous quests, the quartet is tasks with killing a troll that has been kidnapping local girls. And without thinking, the group rush to their aid.
But the quartet isn't ready for such a foe, and are nearly brought to zero hit points, when an avian wizard of divine beauty intervenes and easily defeats the troll. Though she is heavily weakened from using so much magic and collapses, only for Harry to catch her. The party bring the unknown wizard back to an inn to try their best to heal her, but to no avail. Her avian physiology is unknown to even Her-meow-nie, the smartest of the group. But eventually the wizard wakes up, and after thanking the friends for saving her, agrees to travel with them to the next town as she is going that way. Before she falls back asleep, she tells them her name is Fleur Delabirb of the noble house Veela of the western lands.
Along their journey, Harry begs the avian wizard to teach him everything she knows, and, begrudgingly agrees after seeing his desire for knowledge. The two grow closer as they learn that Fleur has her own vendetta against Voldemort, and they vow to stop him together.
