After receiving some bad romance advice from Seamus and Dean, Harry tries to make Cho jealous by flirting with the hottest girl at Hogwarts, Fleur Delacour, Champion of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
Yet somehow, Fleur finds this somewhat amusing and cute. Since when did boys two years her junior have the courage to ask her out? So she decides to play along, pretending to find Harry attractive and cute, and agrees to go to the Yule Ball with him in a few weeks. She didn't want to go with anyone anyway, since all the boys were just attracted to her due to her Veela blood. But Harry Potter is interesting at least, right? So why not agree and learn a little more about him to get an upper hand in the Tournament?
Harry, oblivious, starts to learn more about Fleur than he ever expected. And Fleur, in turn, starts being able to separate pretending to like him with her actual growing feelings.
The Yule Ball arrives and caught up in the Champion's first dance, Fleur kisses Harry for the first time.
The problem? She kinda likes it, and he's not that bad of a kisser.
Now Fleur has to decide whether to act on her growing feelings or ignore them to focus on the Tournament.
