So, I watched Into the Spider-verse again last night. Been a while, had forgotten how good it was. Now my brain is considering 'Into the Potter-verse'.
Imagine Voldemort is defeated, but Death Eaters use a little of his blood to try and summon a new version of him. Only problem is the blood ties together the Dark Lord and the Boy Who Lived, meaning they get more than they bargained for. Multiple 'Harrys' and multiple 'Voldemorts'. A bit like Dimension Hopping for Beginners, I guess, but like Spider-verse you take a wildly out there premise and play it straight rather than for crack.
So you have an older, 'gone to seed' Harry who is lazy, but has the knowledge and experience to make it work. Maybe a Dark!Harry who comes from a dark alternate universe where Grindelwald took over the world and he's part of the resistance. And a Fleur Who Lived too, because of course. Oh, and a lost and completely baffled coffee shop AU Harry who's just happy to be included.
What other versions of Boy Who Lived or Dark Lord would you include? I quite like the idea of a coffee shop AU Voldemort too. Also without powers.
