Throughout Harry’s fifth year, as the events as Hogwarts are occurring, Bill weasley has been trying to get Fleur Delacour to go out with him. Time and again, she has turned him down. Initially, he took it in stride. After nearly six months, it grates on him every time she turns him down. One day he snaps, corners her after their shifts at Gringotts end, and demands to know why she keeps turning him down, and how he can improve himself so that she agrees to go out with him. Fleur replies that while he is a nice person, she doesn't think he’s the guy for her, and that she’s already with someone anyway. Bill blinks in surprise, not expecting such a polite reply. He then asks her who she’s going out with. Fleur counters that it should be none of his concern, but says that she’ll tell him anyway: Harry Potter. Bill gapes and splutters, astounded at the reply, asks her why she would pick him. Despite how much he likes Harry, he doesn't understand why she would pick the scrawny teen over a handsome young man like himself. Fleur smiles wickedly, and he begins to sweat. She takes them to a bar, orders Bill a drink, despite his protests and tells him, in no uncertain terms, why she would pick Harry over him any day. And she doesn't pull her punches. Bill would end up needing that drink. And the eight others he had afterwards.

A Chance Move
Fudge Kangaroo courts Harry at the start of OOTP, his wand is snapped and he is expelled from Hogwarts. Fleur, who happens to be at the Ministry for some Gringotts paperwork, stumbles across Harry and offers him another option as favour for saving her sister. Pulling some connections, Harry is enrolled in Beauxbaton and finishes his education in there. After all the French are always happy to stick it to the English. Harry stays in touch with Fleur, who returns to France after a year or two, the pair reconnects and they quickly begin a romantic relationship. Voldemort never "outs" himself since the DoM doesn't go down, he is content to stay in the shadows, building his forces and influence. After graduation, Harry, given his native English skills, is offered a position as Marshall in French Louisiana (everything between the Continental Divide and the Appalachians would be magical French). It is barely settled by magical Europeans and generally run by natives. Basically, Harry's job is to keep an eye on all sorts of magical creatures hiding in the area, making sure no Americans (especially no Muggleborn) violate the lands of the local tribes and that the law is maintained. He is partnered with a young native woman under a grumpy old Frenchman, the sheriff, much to the annoyance of Fleur. Fleur ends up moving to French Louisiana as well because the long distance relationship isn't working all that great and, after a string of disappointing relationships while she was in England, needs more than the odd visit once a month and a few letters. Which leads to Fleur being dragged into all sorts of shenanigans, especially once Voldemort tries to expand his influence past the Atlantic. You could even spin this into a Spain vs France in America, with Voldemort rousing various nominally Spanish tribes and creatures in that area. There's bound to be a bunch of giants in the Rockies, and plenty of native mythology to draw magical creatures from.

Prompt: 159
Harry visits Fleur's home for the first time. What he didn't know is that "France" is a somewhat broader term in the magical world. So when the portkey dumps him at an arrival point and it's suddenly night outside, Harry is more than a little confused since they left at dawn. But all the signs look French enough, so probably just a quirk of magic. Come to think of it, the air is rather warm and wet. But the magical quarter looks like Paris, so whatever. There's more important things to worry about, namely making a good impression with Fleur's family. And yet, throughout the dinner, he can't shake the feeling that he's missing something. So he keeps asking questions about what's nearby, but all answers sound reasonably French and he does not know any of those places. The food is a bit strange, as if someone took fast food and tried to make it as artfully and well-made as possible.
Eventually, there's an embarrassing moment when he realises that the next town, La Nouvelle-Orléans, is not in Europe, and neither is he.

Whatcha Doin?
It was a question that forced the 9-year-old to lower her book and look over at the 7-year-old beside her. He had wild black hair and striking green eyes. It was the start of a wonderful relationship.
Fleur and Harry meet in the daycare of the ICW during a monthly meeting. Dumbledore who is raising Harry brought him along, and Fleur was brought by her father.

My Hot Swimming Coach
Modern AU. Harry hates the fact that he can't swim, despite being 18. But his terrible relatives never let him swim growing up, so was it really his fault?
So Harry decides to take swimming lessons before taking a beach vacation with the Weasleys and Hermione.
Thinking it might be a little embarrassing learning how to swim so late, Harry decides to request private lesson, figuring he'd get some relatively pretty instructor but nothing more.
And boy was he wrong!
His private swimming coach was a 21 year old goddess among women with perfect tan lines, a flawless body and absolutely criminal accent.
A dauntingly beautiful French woman, Fleur Delacour.
Suffice it to say, but Harry doesn't want her getting close to him in the water, and she doesn't seem to realize what she's doing to him.

Knight and Dragon
Sir Harry, a knight errant, hears of a town having trouble with a fierce dragon, so he travels there and accepts the quest.
After investigating the attacks and the townspeople's claims, he is ready to enter the lair of the wyrm.
A fierce battle ensues, a contest of arms, words, and wits.
Both foes are formidable, and the gruelling struggle leads to a growing respect between the combatants.
Harry finds that the foe who's giving him so much trouble is in fact a shapeshifting dragoness, azure and silver, proud and powerful, and strangely beautiful.
Fleur is at first frustrated by this interloping knight. Where his fighting prowess might fail him, he thwarts her plans with luck and cunning, and where she thought to trap him, he overpowers her with force of arms and his conviction. He also wields his good looks as a devastating weapon.
What started as a trick changed into flirting.
High on adrenaline, both foes find they cannot overcome the other, and moreover, they do not want to.
Some time later, the townspeople see the knight, battered and bruised, leave, accompanied by a strange young woman, surely the dragon's prisoner.
It is when they are safely far away from the town that scaled wings burst from the woman's back.
And so the knight and the dragon depart for new adventures.
They couldn't overcome one another, so what happens when they join forces?

Winter Olympics AU!
Ice Dancing is what I've been watching too much of... But they'd be on different national teams. \
So maybe they're both snowboarders who are constantly trying to out-do each other? Or something. Best part about any solo-sport is that they can both get gold.

Allied for an hour
During the Third Task, Harry gets through the maze a minute quicker and steps in as soon as ImperiusedViktor starts to torture Fleur. This means that she is shaken, but otherwise fine rather than eliminated from the task. In the face of unknown danger, shocked after being subjected to an unforgivable and remembering that Harry had already saved her sister, Fleur proposes that they work together to get out of the maze as quickly as possible. It was not easy, but they made it through traps and obstacles, both solving at least one problem the other had no idea about. They decide to share the victory (I guess that leaves Cedric as spider food... Anyway...)
They arrive at the graveyard, and while Harry is confused, Fleur realises that something is amiss.
"Kill the spare!"
Unfortunately for Wormtail, that gave the trap away and Fleur dodges out of the path of the killing curse while Harry gets his wits together. Harry attacks Pettigrew just as he had Fleur cornered, who takes advantage of the distraction and kills Pettigrew (would be too easy if he could be interrogated, could be unintentional/bad fall).
Since they don't know where and what Babymort is and whether he's armed or not. they decide that the best course of action is to get back as soon as possible. One portkey trip later, they are faced with a jubilant crowd and it takes them half an hour to tell Dumbledore that something had gone wrong since the judges secluded themselves to debate if there can be two winners.
Dumbledore investigates but comes back empty-handed after some time, finding only Moody's cloak. While Dumbledore deals with that, Harry and Fleur are delivered to the hospital wing and patched up. Which leads to late-night talking about what the hell they had been through.
As dawn is breaking, both are utterly exhausted but have decided to stay in touch over the summer. Fleur was thinking about getting a job in London anyway, so trips to Surrey aren't a problem.

To Reach the Stars
Harry Potter was an orphan taken in by his aunt’s family, living on one of the many colonies of Earth. The Dursley family could afford only a modest life and resented their nephew for being a drain on their finances. Especially when strange things started happening around him, they pressured him to control himself. Eventually, Harry managed that, but in secret, he kept practicing his abilities, refining some of them to a respectable degree. Still, there was no love lost between him and the Dursleys and so, once he was of age, he scrounged up what money he could, took loans and got himself access to a starship. It was an underequipped rustbucket and he was deep in debt, but now he was an independent Starship Commander, the stars were waiting. He had been driven so, because in a moment of weakness, his aunt blurted out that his parents had powers like him and were murdered. So Harry takes to the stars, both to free himself from his family and also to uncover the numerous secrets shrouding his past and future. During his adventures. He meets many people, makes friends and enemies, but the meeting standing out foremost in his memory is the vengeance driven bounty hunter, Commander Fleur Delacour of the starship Spectre of Retribution. When pursuing his enemy led him to meet up with her, both seeking the head of the same person, it was as if the universe shifted, something changed.

The sword is very magical, its blade has the curious ability to kill almost anything. If it touches a flame, the fire goes out. If it touches an electronic device, the battery dies.
What’s worse, the sword is sentient and remembers why it was made. It was made to bring death to sinners, that is its only purpose, and it yearns to do so.

Prepects
Prepects.
Some say they’re the Messengers of Heaven, others that they are the Harbingers of Hell.
But all agree that when they arrive, it foreshadows the coming of a Reckoning. For the higher powers do not like it when their world is messed with. Basically precepts are The precepts are essentialy beings that appear as warnings from Magic/ Gods that humans are seriously fucking up. They are also hella powerful, and exempt from magical laws.
There are 8 major ones, in 4 pairs: Pain/Pleasure, Hope/Despair, Loss/Gain and Order/ Chaos.
Harry is the reincarnation of the Precept of pain, while Fleur is the precept of Pleasure.
They’re slowly awakening their powers and memories, and the more they use their power, the faster they awaken. This will eventually ramp up to really powerful characters, but the enemies they face will also be much, much stronger.

Oneiromancy
Oneiromancy, an obscure magic involving visions in the form of dreams. These visions can be events of the past or even the future or simply ways of fulfilling desires one cannot achieve. Ever since he was a child, Harry would often dream about things he did not understand. But one dream stood out the most: the vision of a beautiful but lonely silver-haired blue-eyed girl who seemed to be searching for him. Across the Channel, Fleur Delacour has had dreams and visions of the past and future and in her dream there is one constant figure; the vision of a dark haired green eyed boy who has endured much suffering and hardship. Years later in his fourth year at Hogwarts, Harry is witness to the revival of the Triwizard Tournament and not long after the delegations from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang arrive. Among the delegation from Beauxbatons there is the girl from his dreams; silver hair and blue eyes. Fleur is chosen to be a part of the Beauxbatons delegation for the Triwizard Tournament held at Hogwarts. She arrives at the British school with a slightly disdainful opinion of Hogwarts and the students, most notably the male half. But then, she sees him, the boy from her dreams that have plagued her since childhood; dark hair and green eyes.

Life in two lives
Harry lives in two different worlds. Every time he goes to sleep he wakes up in a different version of reality, in one every person he meets is shallow and safe and pleasant, and in the other they are broken and beaten and filled with bitterness. Harry feels like the happy world is a facade, but that it is more pleasant to live in. Eventually he discovers that he can influence how much time he spends in each world, and that the more time he spends in a world, the more he becomes like that world he becomes.
He has to choose between happiness, the lessening of himself and all he knows, and truth, and the misery that revelation brings.

Love and Eternity
All magicals have the ability to live forever; immortality, as it were. However, this immortality is intrinsically linked to one’s soul, which is split into three pieces at birth. When someone falls in love, a true, deep love, one of those pieces is given to the person they have fallen in love with.
You die once you’ve run out of pieces of your soul.
Many people have lived long lives, falling in love, falling out of love, and then falling in love again, sometimes with the same person. Eventually, no matter how many times they fall in and out of love, every single magical, without fail, falls in love one too many times, and breathe their last.
Every single magical, that is, except for two.
Harry Potter, the man who has never fallen in love, and Fleur Delacour, the woman who leaves a trail of broken hearts and souls in her wake, making others fall in love with her in order to prolong her life. These two have never crossed paths, only knowing each other by virtue of being the only two immortals, until one day, they bump into each other as spectators in the 283rd Triwizard Tournament.
What follows is a story of love, of the inevitability of death, the heart-wrenching pain of falling in and out of love with the same person for centuries, and the slow, inevitable march of one of the two eventually falling in love with the other for the last time.
I wish you all a short and happy life.

Swing Cha Cha
So...A bit of a fun/cute idea... But a Malfoy-raised Harry (good!Lucius, obvs), having a nack for dancing.
Especially for dances of the older era, I.E: Swing, Cha Cha, Lindy Hop, etc.
Now, Harry would be going to Ivermony, and would replace Durmstang in the Triwizard Tournement.
I also like the idea of the other schools basically choosing their champions before they even left, either by raffle or by competition.
Now, to get back to the dancing part, Harry would be the one to ask Fluer first, and due to his ability to throw off her Alure, she would say yes.
At the ball, after the First dance, Harry would win her over, with different dances, from different countries.
For me personally, i would say that Voldemort stayed dead, when he tried splitting his soul again that Halloween night.
