Since Madam Maxime has "high" standards when it comes to food, she has banned Fleur's favourite dessert (something simple, like vanilla pudding/custard) in favour of fancier alternatives. Therefore, Fleur sneaks to the Hogwarts kitchens and asks the House Elves for a serving.
Enter Harry, who was on his way to the prefect bath but had to dodge Filch/Snape/Karkaroff and ended up in the kitchens. After a silly debate about favourite sweets, Fleur asks why Harry was out so late and he explains his issue with the egg and Cedric's hint. Maybe also grumbling since Harry told him "dragons" and Cedric was like "take a bath". Fleur reveals the riddle, and finally gets someone to talk to about her conclusion that there will be hostages and who hers will be.
Harry tries to reassure her that weird and dangerous situations are common, however no one has yet died. Fleur demands explanations and so they get talking about Harry's Hogwarts experiences. Maybe with the caveat that he finally can tell someone that he wasn't a hero rushing to the rescue but scared shitless.
Realising that it's 3 am by now, they agree to meet again in Hogsmeade next Weekend...
