Everyone loves doing “wrong interpretation of prophecy” fics it seems, but I haven’t seen this one yet:
Voldemort finds out the prophecy at the end of year 5 in the ministry battle, and finds a wrinkle in everyones interpretation. Not only does Tom’s early childhood mirror Harry’s but they also share a birthday, born as the seventh month dies. Not referring to Tom’s conflict with Harry, but with someone else.
Could be fun for a crossover fic, or if someone really lives evil-Dumbledore and turns out Tom was just a ‘freedom fighter’.
