Harry Potter, an Auror or some other investigator, and his partner Fleur, are tracking down a strange necromantic cult that unearthed a somewhat old artefact, a magical executioner’s sword.
During a scuffle with the cult, Harry and his partner manage to get the weapon away from the cult, but that is only the start of their troubles. The sword is very magical, its blade has the curious ability to kill almost anything. If it touches a flame, the fire goes out. If it touches an electronic device, the battery dies.
What’s worse, the sword is sentient and remembers why it was made. It was made to bring death to sinners, that is its only purpose, and it yearns to do so.
