Triwizard Tournament Times Two

The Goblet of Fire was a sacred instrument, a wooden oracle crafted and enchanted by a long forgotten coven, in an era when Wizards and Witches would seek to learn the will of Magic itself and let it guide them; it forced on them no compulsion, nor penalty for disobedience. But the Goblet has not remained as it once was, as it passed through the centuries many great sorcerers have bent and remade the Goblet to serve new purposes. In recent centuries it has served to judge young Wizards and Witches, to find the best among them, those with the greatest potential, daring, and will, and to chain them to a deadly contest. The Goblet has been so extensively enchanted and charmed over thousands of years that it is no surprise that Barty Crouch Jr.'s Confundus Charm went unnoticed. Dumbledore himself would have struggled to discover the charm, if he even knew to look for it. It is therefore no great surprise that, after all their many years of careful planning and study, not one of the Triwizard Tournament organizers found the spells that were added to it by James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, when they found the Goblet in a dusty corner of Hogwarts one Friday night. If only Dumbledore had mentioned the tournament to Sirius, he may have thought to mention it before it was too late.Prompt Specifics: Each Triwizard Champion is selected with a partner – there are two names on each parchmentHarry and Fleur are partnered with each other.
