Veela aren't the only creatures known for their supernatural beauty. She simply didn’t feel the need to correct the mindless sheep when they called her a veela.
‘So much young blood in one place…’ her thoughts trailed off as she entered the hall and was momentarily overwhelmed. However, there was one scent that pierced through the stench of the others, there was something not quite human about it. When she looked towards the source, chilling green eyes stared back.
AN: I left the prompt itself bare on purpose. I didn't plan for Harry to be something else, originally she was just smelling the basilisk venom and phoenix tears. It would be an interesting twist if Harry was also a vampire and then there could be tension about intruding on the other's hunting grounds, or it could be a classic werewolf vs vampire tension.
With the language I used I was thinking Fleur was a more apathetic vampire between her strength, beauty, and immortal life she would view human life differently. Also it would be funny if Gabby was actually older than her somehow, maybe they aren't actual sisters. The sun likely only irritates vampires (maybe only magical vampires or higher born) or she would have been discovered quickly. Having the ability to enthrall and compel others would help her cover as a veela.
